Kinder Morgan Liquids Terminal, located in Linnton, was identified by ODEQ as a high priority site. Early cleanup action began on the site in July, 2004.

Hazardous substances discovered in the sediments at the site include: BTEX, PAHs (including benzopyrene and benzoanthracine), heavy metals, as well as petroleum products.

Threats from these substances include consuming contaminated fish tissue, direct contact with surfact water contamination, utility trench work, and consumption of contaminated groundwater.
